What is this?

This is the calendar section of stillepost.ca. We cheerfully maintain music and events listings for Toronto, Hamilton (Ontario) and Montreal.

Whose responsibility is this?

Each calendar is maintained by a volunteer from the message boards.

How can I add an event?

• To add an event for Montreal, submit this form, or send an email.
• To add an event for Toronto, post the relevant information on this message-board thread.
• To add an event for Hamilton, post the relevant information on this message-board thread or submit this form.

How can I correct, change or cancel an event, or my event's venue is not on the list?

Use the submission procedures above, and just note somewhere in the description that it's a correction, change, cancellation, or new venue.

Can I use your listings on my own Web site?

What is this "RSS feed" business?

An RSS feed is just an easy way to view upcoming shows without coming to the site every day. You can use an application called a "feed reader", run either on your computer, or through a site like Google Reader, to get up-to-date listings.

Fine, but what's an iCal?

You can use the "Subscribe to iCal" link to see all the calendar events in your own calendar program of choice: for example, iCal on Mac OS X, or Outlook on Windows, or Evolution on Linux. You can even subscribe using Google Calendar. In fact, here's a list of a bunch of programs you can use to both track your own schedule and view the show calendar.
