Beer buying is mandatory to arrive or play set!!!! UPDATE!!I think its going to be all acoustic, to avoid long set up times and a good flow of people. It's not really crashing the place... more like Yvan convinced the bar tender to let us play a set. It didn't take much convincing. Seriously if you've ever been in there on a Monday there are like only one or two people at any given time in the place. |

Because of the off nights that the Rodeo has I've often thought in my head what it would take to change the place around from country to something else.... even for one night. Yvan has had conversations with the owner about this idea before about doing a one night show on one of the Rodeo's off nights. That was about two years ago now though. Their only concern was that they would end up selling more beer on an off night then they ever have before.... the idea went over well. Kind of wish I was there at the time talking to the guy as well.
It's a large venue. It's been open since the late 1840s. It should be cool.

I heard a couple weeks ago that Boston Pizza was going to have a one month licence suspension because they didn't cut off some dude and he smacked up his car... maybe there is some sort of crack down going on because of it..... ?????? But who really drives to the Rodeo? Other then the geriatric scooters parked out front. |

Maybe cause one of the main symbols of the Christians for the past 2000 years has been the fish? Although tends to be used more in poorer countries and/or slapped on the back of station wagons.

I really thank each and everyone one of you that showed up last night; it was phenomenal. Thank-you to everyone for showing you support for the first experimental music night at ..... The Rodeo..... I still can't get over that  They were talking to me last night wanting me to arrange another night, asking if I can do it monthly. I said yes. It wont pay but it is a chance to play. Again thank you everyone who showed up!!! It really made the night!!! |
